Sir Alex believes …..

Given that he won 49 trophies during his time as manager of Manchester United, one could be forgiven for being surprised when Sir Alex Ferguson CBE stated that he only had 4 truly world class players during his 26 year tenure.
Namely, Cantona, Giggs, Scholes and Ronaldo.
So how, the interviewer then asked, did he manage to be so successful with a less than world-class team.
"Clarity, belief and execution," replied Sir Alex. "Everyone knew what they had to do, why they were doing it and believed that they could do it. They then went out and did it. It’s no good planning and preparing to win, if you don’t also expect to win."
"I think the CBE I received from the Queen was for my Clarity, Belief and Execution. Once you’ve got these three things, you can make the most of your talent."
"But how did your maintain the belief of the team when you got beaten?" asked the interviewer.
With a twinkle in his eye Sir Alex replied, "We may occasionally have run out of time, but we never believed that we could be beaten."

Dumb says to Dumber, "Its very quiet on deck today."
"Everyone must have gone to see the band," said Dumber.
"But there isn’t a band playing tonight," says Dumb.
"I’m sure I heard someone say a band on ship," replies Dumber.
