Those who have seen it, say that there is always one thing that you can find in billionaire investor Warren Buffet’s little black diary: plenty of white space.

"If you’re going to be creative, you’ve got to keep control of your time," Buffett says, "and you can’t unless you say no to people and set your own agenda. I make sure that I have a meeting booked with myself every day and usually go for a walk. All sorts of wonderful ideas pop into my head during this time that I have with me. "

Whatever picture you paint, you can’t paint if your canvas is full.

Whatever your work, you need time to do it.

When it comes to time, the maths is simple: you’ve probably got less than you think and need more than you know.

"I don’t know the key to success," the actor Bill Cosby once said, "but I know the key to failure. Try to make everybody happy and offend no one."

Who would have thought it?

Sweet, old Warren Buffet: Attila the Honey.

An elderly man placed some flowers on his mother’s grave and noticed a woman knelt by a grave crying and wailing uncontrollably.

As he approached the woman, he heard her repeating over and over again, "Why did you have to die? Why, oh! Why?"

"Are you mourning a child or a parent, my dear?" the man asked.

The woman looked up at him sorrowfully, wiped away her tears and replied, "No, my husband’s first wife."

Why aren’t these everywhere?
